i wouldnt do the side of your hood because after the hood ends, where is the black stripe going to go? nowhere really...if u want me to do it, get a side shot of your truck from the front that also includes your hood and i will try to make something work

id use brilliant black metallic...i believe it paint code is PX8

 

I kind of like the headlights but it's hard to say without seeing them on a truck. Not a big fan of those fuel doors though, I like the simpler ones better that don't have the designs on them. Also fyi they're a bit pricey, the factory price for the Mopar chrome fuel door is $10 less than that one so it would be even cheaper on makeitmopar.com. You know, if you felt like making it yourself, I've seen the same types of mesh they use in the mesh grilles at hardware stores before (not just gutter guard either). It would probably cost you a lot less.

 

thanx i will look into those things... i tried to paste those headlights on my truck with mic. paint but it was sloppy...i have new pics on my profile of my front end if anyone can help put those LED halos on my front with the black grille nightrunner did...

 

Well I'm not good enough with photoshop to put the headlights on your truck w/o making it look like a total hackjob. But I did find a pic of a 3rd gen with them.

wow thats the grille i want too...that picture would be PERFECT if it was a silver truck with a black crosshaired grille....

 

should i get those halo headlights or just black out the stock ones? i know its cheaper to black them out but i wanted a brighter light too....

 

Well the halos could be brighter or they could be dimmer depending how good the projector lenses are. You should ask xx1479 how his are compared to stock.

 

I got street scene speed grille insertsin brushed aluminum. I don't have it installed yet because I am getting the chrome grille painted black to match my truck. Cost abot $300 at local body shop to paint the grille.

 

300$? i have a can of spray paint for 10.
