RE: What Do You Think?
i had a brushed aluminum grill on my ram for 2 years before i got the knock off 1 piece phantom grill with built in billet.....ive made my decision, when i am ready, i am ordering the billet...yes, i am going against the grain here but the more i look at it the more i like it and thats what really matters here...thanks for your guys thoughts though

RE: What Do You Think?
night_ runner i respect your decision , you need to put on your truck what you like . that's why there's so much different stuff out there, and at the end of the day what you think looks good is all that really matters. i think (not that it matters) but the black chrome grill would match your wheels better than a black powder coated griil. black chrome just has a unique look to it. are we still feeling the love ?

RE: What Do You Think?
haha, id like to get a black chrome billet grill, but right now im thinkin i want a bolt over grill....in that case, my options are limited as to who makes bolt over grills...now i have to find a bolt over that comes in black chrome, if not, i have 1 of 2 options
clarification, i dont mind cuttin up my stock grill, but parents dont really want me puttin as much $ in this truck as i did in my ram....but they havent really said much to what i have told them my plans are...i mean, its not like im spending money i dont have, and its not like i owe any creditcards or any bills ect...i make sure i have money for that stuff (i have no credit cards, dont want one) and then some before i buy any mods
back to my 1 of 2 choices
1-black powdercoat
2-i have a friend that works at a "chrome" shop...its not REAL chrome, but looks just like it and can be any color....they could probally match it, and i had my rear 3rd brake light done on my ram (had it done in regular chrome color) but idk how much punnishment it can take....the 3rd brake light lasted over 2 years (still on there lookin good when i sold the truck, would assume it still looks great, did it because i got tired of polishing the aluminum), but it didnt exactly have rocks hitting it from cars in front....idk, maybe im thinkin this stuff is too...*****....i mean, the guys does thousands of thousand $ jobs on bikes and resto's from across the country
