Default Spare tire

Does anyone know if all Dakota's come with full size spare? If not, what size of donut? I have a full size but I'm curious. Thanks.

All of them should come with a full size spare. My truck came with BFG TA KO's on it stock and that's what my spare is.

I figured as much. Just got my exhaust installed and I can't get the spare back on. The hangars he put on won't let the tire back up. MF. Back to Meineke.

Yeah, even some of the pre-made exhaust say that you might have to remove the spare. You should bring your spare and when they move the exhaust you can put the spare back up and then they can work around it. They can tack weld the exhaust and then you can pull the spare so they can get a good weld on it. Just make sure it isn't too close to your spare.

What do you think is sufficient clearance (before I go back)? Also, not sure how well it was welded but they can break welds? Thanks.

I just got rid of my spare tire in general...

It's not the same size as my 20" tires and wheels, nor my 265/70/16...

That's what roadside assisstance is for my friends...

That's what I'm going to ask our local shop here to do, too...I definitely don't want to lose my spare tire.

May not be the same size but it'll get you home. Besides who wants to wait for the roadside assistance people to get there?
