sooo... I am back. very bummed out
Well, I am back from florida. not exactly a vacation though, I went down to be with my grandmother. She died a little over a week ago. So after the funeral we headed back. but everyone knows crap comes in pairs and threes... so I come back to go to work and find out that the ABC Warehouse I work at is going to cut the car install from the store. So I will no longer have a job in three weeks... its cool though. My pressure washing business is doing ok... m y cousin is paying the bills with it, and he only does it 2 days a week.
ok enough of this crap... I just wanted to say I'm back. prolly wont be on as much being as I cant spend all my spare time at work on the computer.

Well, welcome back! Sorry to hear about your grandma. Mine died back in December so I know what your going through.
Sorry to hear about your job but I'm glad to hear it won't hurt you too bad. Just remember that life always has it's hard times. Just work through them as fast as you can so that you can enjoy more good times than bad!

Yeah, I am going to be fine, but the 3 other guys I work with all are pretty much screwed. We will be able to collect unemployment, but that is like taking a 50% hit in pay. I dont know, I can use a guy for helping with the pressure washing... I am actually thinking about setting up a mobile detailing skid... I should be able to keep it buisy... IDK though.

You could make some good money if you did a mobile car detailing service. People could be at work and have their car detailed in the parking lot. The biggest thing would be to get your name out there, once it is the cash will start flowing! So are you thinking about hiring one of the guys you work with now to help with the pressure washing?

sorry about the job too....it's one of the many reasons i joined the air force, they can't fire me.

Welcome back bro... Sorry to hear about your Grandma and your job. My grandparents from my mother's side both died in 01 and in 04, and they both lived in Florida.
I've thought about doing my own detailing company out of my driveway. I haven't done anything yet, but I know that if you put it on Craig's List, you should get some big business.
And there's always that Army National Guard thing too.... $20,000 enlistment bonus, $20,000 Student Loan Repayment Plan, $11,+ for school..... and it's part-time....

Welcome back man, real sorry to hear about your Grandmother, I went through that early this year.
That sucks with the job, at least you've got something to fall back on. Mobile detailing sounds like a pretty good idea to me, I hope it goes well for you whichever way you take the company.

Sorry about grandma, nothin like getting kicked when you are down, but the one thing I have always found regarding jobs is a slammed shut door usually has open windows, and often times you run into opportunities you normally would not have found working in your old job. I am sure you will land on you feet and be better off! Go out and Getem!!!
