They should make a programmer for the 3.7...that'd be nice... I just hope they make more stuff for the 3.7...like headers, programmers, etc...

I'm wondering why you guys have autos if you don't like the way they shift?

I'm all about the manual, too. I wish I could've gotten the 3.92 rear end, but, perhaps I can do that as a later mod.

Yup, you're right, you can't get the HO and manual....cuz the HO gets the 3.92 rear end only and they won't sell a 3.92 manual. It's a shame, really.

You can get a manual with the tow package...I have one.

My 99 Dak was a 5 spd manual. I loved it, but on long trips when I was tired from driving, I hated to shift. I loved the truck, but I swore that it'd be a while before I get another one. The only downfall with the A/T is that they don't shift very well. I drive around town with the Tow/Haul button on so it doesn't lag when I start moving at a light or going up hill in town. Better response.

I'm going to eventually reflash my ECU when i get new cams. That's probably the only way we're going to get our ECU performance that we want.

Mitsubishi didn't offer the 4.7 with a manual sooooooo, I got the auto. I also drive in a lot of traffic and I like to sit back and relax. Mine actually shifts pretty good............ well, it does when it is shifting right that is.

My truck was bought by my grandfather then he decided to get something bigger so he gave me a killer deal on it. Otherwise I probably would have ended up with something manual but a decent bit older.
