Default amp help

i have 4 alpine type R's being pushed by a clarion with a max output of 400W... i feel like they are only getting like 30 watts each they sound like crap.... what do you suggest for a bigger amp? i think i need more like 800W max power.... basically i need 75W RMS to each speaker so they might sound a little better. plus i need something that will fit under the back seat. suggestions?

I say call crutchfield....

Then go to www.sonicelectronix.com to find an amp that fits your requirements...

What is your size limit?? What is the size of the amp you have currently? How much room DO you have to mount an amp? If you can get the measurements, I'm sure I can, or someone on here, can find you a NICE amp, that'll fill your requirements. :-)

Oh, and how much do you want to spend? That's another big question.

I personally like this one... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...s+CD4.4LE.html

If there amps are anything like there speakers, this amp should be perrrrrrrfect for you.

first off, thats your problem. each set should have its own amp to supply enough power to them.your amp is probablynot strong enough it is better to get two small amps than one big amp.

My only guess would be he's thinking about fitting one under each seat? I can't really see why other than that, personally I prefer one larger amp. Easier on me.
