I guess I scared you off w/ my offer of 50 bux for your center console/bench seat. I'd still like to know what you want for it. put it up on ebay? maybe i'll bid on it. please reply

 

you didnt scare me away at all. i didnt end up getting my new center console because dodge rips you off. i called the dealer and he said he would order me one and didnt tell me the price. i went in on saturday to pick it up and he told me $800 before tax. i didnt take it because 800 is a bit steep. i was gonna post up to let you know, but im been to busy in the past few days. im trying to find a new one now. ill let you know as soon as i get something.

i wasnt blowing your offer off, anything is better than it just sitting im my garage collecting dust. once again ill let you know as soon as i actually physically have something, not when i order it ( i already learned my lesson on that on)

sounds like a good idea, ill check tonight to see if i can find anything, im still not sure if the older model dakota's consoles will fit my truck do you know? or does anybody know?

 

No idea. Not the right guy to ask. I specialze in redneck engineering. Read: "I don't care if it fits, Ihave a large hammer, and some j.b. weld"

 

ok ill do some research on if it will fit. cuz i cant use a big hammer and weld it, im a horriable welder.

 

I would think any console from '01 on would fit, as long as it is the same tranny combo as yours. I had an '01, now I have an '06, and it's the same except the06 doesn't have the rubber inserts and CD caddy that my 01 did

 

thats good to know, i was just afraid that if i bought one of those that i wouldnt fit and i would be stuck with a conolse that didnt work.
