Painting my Wheels?
So, I have been thinking about painting my wheels...but I want to kinda photoshop them before I do it. Trucky, can you get me a profile shot of your truck up? I want to do mine black aswell, and you are using the same paint I intend to.

well, for the cost of the only shop around here to do it, I could have new wheels... I am not paying 800 for powdercoating when I can get duplicolor wheel paint for like 10 a can... I am not afraid of a little work to get them perfect.

ooooh eric you are doing the right thing with your orignial idea. orignally i did NOT clear coat them which was a bad idea, over time the paint started to chip VERY slightly and it got a rough texture. when i got my truck here and re-did them...i clear coated it and they are always shiny. been through car washes, storms, and rough driving already with nooo problems still shiny still pure black. and hey...if they do chip even after clear coat...it doesnt cost 800 bucks, it costs 5, one more can o' paint.
i also recommend high temp paint, color of your choice, under the body of your truck for the differential and exhaust and whatever else you want. i did mine black and it looks greeeeat.
this is all i have right now eric..and its before i did the outer rim of it... maybe i'll grab more later for u
