key programmer
anyone had trouble with their keys not working? i found out when i opened it that the battery holder came loose. i called the dealer and he said they have this problem all the time and all you do is soder (sp?) it back in place. I bought a gun and did it. still doesnt work. my truck is 300 miles over warranty and they are gonna charge me a lot to fix it. any suggestions? did i do something wrong? cuz its all connected now. even got a new battery

my guess is check the connection... maybe you soldered something together or didnt get it completely connected... I would tell you how to program the key, but you have to PM me for it... I am not going to give out that info for everybody... way too risky for me.

my truck came with 2 programmable keys. i very rarely use the push button to open door. only time i use it is to set the alarm. other then that when i get out i manually lock the door and use the key to open it.

im screwed, i only have one key. either way its gonna be over 100 bucks to get this fixed. this is so annoying
