hello everyone im brand new to dodgeforum.com. my first question is why when i unbolted my muffler didnt my truck get louder? if anything it quieted down? any info on this would be great

That doesnt make any sense whatsoever....Did you turn off the ignition key when you pulled the muffler because thats the only way I can think that your truck got quieter.

haha funny. no i didnt turn the ignition off and the same thing happened to my buddys car when we took his muffler off his 06 civic

oooooooh....

Did you remove the BIG muffler, the huge can like one? Or one of the two smaller ones?

the only one I remember that un bolted was the muffler, not the resonators...

that truck should have gotten much louder... like scaring kids loud... I had mine off for a couple minutes and my ears were ringing...
