seriously...don't you need high temp special paint for those? I am planning on moungint my GPS where the old airbag indicator was. I have aGarmin Nuvi 350 which fits nicely on top of there, not a fat GPS, so it sits reallly nice there. I'm trying to find some instructions on how to disassemble the Nuvi so that I can paint that black as well; but no such luck on any instructions . Anyone got ideas?

i have gotten my CD bezel installed! I got some plexiglass, painted it black on the back side of it, and put the switches on it. I painted it on the reverse side because it makes for a glossy black look to it. So how do yall like it? It has my new chrome ***** on it as well from billettechnology.com. Those were kind of expensive but look really nice i think with the black. I used locktite adhesive to hold my GPS holder on the dashboard. The GPS mount is permanently on the dashboard, but the GPS itself can be taken off if I ever wanted to update the maps on my computer. So, here it is!

That really looks great. Better than the fake wood look I have on mine.I was looking into buying a dash kit but they are expensive but now I might try painting.
