yeah, you just have to make sure it's sanded down reallly good. The using 100grit, then 320, then 600, spending about 1 hour total of sanding time really paid off. Then using plastic primer before painting it black helped a lot too.

 

You gonna paint anything else to match?

My truck's red, and I had the triangle pattern-thing that my truck does. I thought about adding red to mine, but wasn't sure if that would look out of place, having just one red thing in the interior. Wondered if the surrounds around the door handles or something could be painted to match... hmm....

 

yeah I have already painted my cupholders, the parts around my door handles, and the bezels around my power window controls. I do plan on working on other items, but I have not yet decided which parts to do yet. When I go through it with photoshop i'll decide

 

My eventual goal is to paint the entire interrior... all the vinyl in the truck... the dark grey parts would be black, and the light grey parts in the center of the door panels would be blue, to go with my whole black and blue theme :-P
