It may not be the primary reason but it does make a significant difference in the windtunnel. Mine is NOTICEABLY affected by wind @ speed now that its leveled. Does it translate to MPGs? I dunno.
But it LOOKS so much better, and worth it to me. Now w/ 1-2" of tire under me I think I'll be happy enough w/ the height tho a 2" body lift is tempting.

Yes, mine pushed more wind also. Between the level and 20's I dropped about 2MPG's.
I was poking around underneath the other day and noticed the rear sway bar, and started LMAO, I don't know what I was expecting, but NOT that piece of wire they call a sway bar....
Not sure if you would gain much Graythang.
Did we ever figure out exactly how they get the additional 1" on the TRX? Front AND Rear?

coder, most people don't understand lowering a truck because it goes against the intended usefulness of the vehicle. Most trucks are bought to haul and tow, not take sweeping corners at high Gs. It's like kissing your sister, it's just.....unnatural. It doesn't bother me when someone lowers or lifts their truck but I think sometimes it goes beyond all common sense reasoning, especially lifting a 2WD a foot and half or lowering a 4WD all the way to the ground.
