car wash with soft tonno?

Hey guys, just installed an Extang RT on my truck, LOVE the way it looks, my question is can I still go through an auto car wash with it or do I need to only wash it by hand now?

I go through an auto car wash with mine all of the time. It is not a problem at all.

I go through the auto car wash quite often with my tonneau, always did on my last truck too. It looks really funny when the high speed dryers are pointing at it but it always comes out fine.

Yuppers, same here..

I just use a pressure washer and a leaf blower to wash and dry my truck, no problems yet.

on my fullsize use to do it all the time. after a few winters it started to crack and fall apart

Yeah I do it all the time... just make sure you use a protectant every once and a while to keep it from cracking

I wash my sport master cover with the pressure washer all the time. Just get some tonneau guard or a similar vinyl conditioner... that will keep it supple and pliable.

Yep I do it all the time too, but I'll echo everyone else and just make sure you use some vinyl conditioner every once in a while. Well not all the time b/c I am in Iraq now, but I did and I will once I get back!
