does the chip itself have the clip. also make sure you put it straight on. it maybe crocked and getting hung up on the side. there is very tight clearance for these
If so, go to a salvage yard, find a early - mid 90s Lincoln Continental, or Mark VIII, with the 3.8L engine, and pull off that elec. fan... has two 7/16" bolts at the top, and that fan blows 5000+ cfpm... cost me 20 bux for the fan. :-)
I am looking for a fan also... frenchy you got yours on yet? I am thinking about just wiring mine up to a switch... I dunno though, maybe I will set up a temp probe and some relays to make it work like stock. I need to look at a wireing diagram first I guess...
Get the black magic fan I have one and love it. 3300cfm is plenty to keep engine cool. I have the variable speed control so fan runs at 60 percent most of the time.
