Default Finally found lift kit but....

I finally found a suspensionlift kit for 05 and 06 dakotas. Go to www.truckinsuspension.com They have a 4.5 inch kit. The only downfall is the price a whopping $1,895 Guess I'll have to ask the boss for a big raise. Oh well at least there is a company that makes one even though most of us can't afford it.

I took a quick glance at the liftkits and was wondering what about the shocks and struts? I didn't read the instructions so I don't konw if there are adapters for our front struts and rear shocks but never the less it's nice to see some companies care about us.

The kits are made to order. I ordered 2" lifting shackles for the 05-07 dakota and they made them for me, so it took about 2 weeks to get them. They have horrible customer service, they gave me the run around about taking them back, they dont send you instructions, they have no support, lol.

BUT

You CAN get a lift kit for our trucks from them. Its not really a complete kit. You still need to lift the rear yourself.

I dunno.

The body lift kits still the best choice.

i have dealt with this company when lowering my ranger and some buddies have also. they have the worst customer service ever. they sent my buddy a roll pan for and full size chevy for his ranger and he called to tell them and they flat out told him they didnt belive him and made him send pics and pay for return shipping.

Unfortunalty thats the name of the game when you want to customize a vehicle. It costs ALOT of money and theres no way to get around it unless you half-*** it.

Personally I like suspension lifted trucks over body lifts. You'll get better wheel travel for useoffroad.
