Default trailer wiring harness????

Hi, i purchased the aftermarket receiver from dodge and the light wiring harness that has the round plug and the flat plug. Ive had it all hooked up for a while and everything works great, the only thing is that when i was installing it their was a blue wire that ran up to the front of the truck with the power wires and the instructions said that it is used for the eledctric braking and to run it thru the firewall into the cab by the pedals. i did this but from then on the instructions were useless on where to connect this wire. i left it disconnected because my trailer does not have brakes anyways but now i have a need for it. does any body know anything about this wire and where it should connect?

It should be the feed wire that would connectyour trailer brakes to the electric brake controler (that must be purchased and mounted under your dash). Factory towing setups have the under dash wiring done and all you do is wire your Brake controler to a provided pigtail harness that just plugs into your dash harness. Once you get a brake controler(and don't skimp on these, a good one will have better control capabilities and can be mounted at different angles) your controller will have instructions that should tell you where to hook up the wire.
