'06 Dakota Quad SB tonneau
I'm picking up a tonneau for my '06 Dakota Quad short bed (5'3"). After reading through the archives here, I think I'm getting the Fold-a-Cover. I want a hard top, flexible, fairly flush mount, fairly water-proof, and easy to remove. This seems to meet my needs and there isn't much bad posted about them. If anyone has other suggestions, I'm all ears.
Does anyone have this cover? Did you have to drill anything to install it? Any major flaws or problems you've noticed?
Anyone tried the Mopar cover as well?
Thanks.

Anything made by Mopar, is just a rebadged version of something else, that cost three times as much....
So if you can find out who makes the Mopar cover, go find there site, and buy from them directly... and save yourself some cash..

I have one, and the only bitch I have about it is the keys are too short and the locks are a little hard to turn because of that.
Oh, and the black is waaaaay too hot to touch when the sun is out. Other than that, it works fine.

I'm going to guess no. Almost every tonneau cover I've seen mounts using clamps, except for some of the fiberglass ones.

That's what I thought at first, too. The ony one I've looked at had the side rails, like this one. It used the stake holes to attach. Since my truck has no stake holes, I wasn't sure.

Here's another I'm looking at. It seems to be a little better than the Fold-a-Cover.
One thing I really wouldn't like about those is if you notice in the video when it is folded up all the way you can't see anything out the rear window.
