Default O2 sensor help

Can anyone explain to me why I would be having an O2 sensor alarm? I took it to the dealer and they replaced it. The light still came back on. Today I replaced the one they replaced. Took it for a 23 mile drive, then let it sit idling for about 10 minutes infront of the house. After 23 miles and then sitting for 10 minutes, the light came back on. It's not the gas cap...I checked that.[/align]

If it's still under warranty take it back and have them deal with it. If not go to autozone and ask to use the OBDII code reader, then post up what it gives you.

Well we know its the o2 sensor already. Its been that for a while now. He thought that removing the muffler was the culprit.

It is going back to the dealer. As an FYI, I have replaced the downstream O2 sensor on the driver's side. That didn't solve the problem. So, I am think it could be the one on the passenger side. I have a new sensor for that as well, but it is a bitch to remove. I will give it one more try tonight. If that doesn't work, well, it's going back to dealer. I just hope it is not a bad catalytic converter throwing this off.

O2 sensor simulators, you'd typically use those if you removed the cats. They make the computer think everything is fine with emissions.

where would I find those if nothing is wrong and the dealer hits a dead end?

My concern is the K&N 63 series and the Flowmaster are throwing a false reading at the sensor and it is not going to fix or be covered under warranty since the emissions and the instake have been modified.

Considering Mopar's CAI is almost the same as the K&N's and the flowmaster is after the cats those should not affect it at all.

Yeah, I figured such. The code I am getting is P0161 - O2 Sensor Heater Malfunction (Bank 2/Sensor 2). Any ideas? I just replaced the 2 sensors behind that cat which Bank 2/Sensor 2 suggests.
