Last night I received a phone call from my brother-in-law. Unfortunately, I couldn't talk to him because I was in the middle of a softball game... I was on deck to bat.

Anyway, I guess he and my niece were out driving around and she saw a blueish Toyota Tundra. She told him that when she gets a truck, she wants it to be that color. He was a little shocked and asked her if she was going to get a Toyota Tundra too ( he drives one himself). She looked at him and said, "No, I want a Dodge". He asked her, "Why a Dodge?" She said, "Because she knows a lot of people who owns one."

He asked her to name a few. She named all of the people, which happens to be mostly her uncles. He chuckled and said that they were all dogs. Then she named me.

He didn't know what to say, but then he said, "That's a dog too".Her response was,"Why don't you call Todd and say that to him with the speaker phone on." So he of course called me, and like I said, I was getting ready to bat.

When he hung up, she made a comment to him that was priceless. "Besides that, Todd named his son after a Dodge."

We had a good chuckle with that one, since my son's name is Dakota.

 

Great Story. I would send that to Dodge Mangizine. Oh and copy the Toyota fourms. Na someone might name their boy Tundra.

I like the name dakota. I girl I used to hang out with was called dakota

I used to have a dog that was called dakota too

 

When I suggested the name, I was thinking of my call name, and then when we put the middle name "David" in it, it ran together nicely.

lol no its dakota david...right...?... oh btw I like the name dakota...but on the downside of that there's a stripper at a club round here with that as her stage name :-P
