your hitch would be way too big to flip like mine, but here is how mine is flipped and what i mean

yeah imade sure i checked that before i towed...with the tow trailer i got it wasnt a big deal, as i could have switched the ball mount around and still be able to tow it...if i had a full drive on trailer....i would for sure get a new mount....

the ball mount came from a lifted f350 my friend has thats why its so low....

thanks for the look out....

ur truck looks great!!! keep it up....

any hints on where i can plug in the four wire harness? the hitch that i rented came with the harness part that connects to the truck....so i kept it, i just dont know where to wire it into....basicly its 4 wires, and the other end is the four prongs

Default RE: hitch question

mine came wired, so i couldnt tell you, but the 4 pin is your brakes lights/turns/running lights ect....i have a 4 pin and a round 7 pin....when towing the jet ski and smaller boats with no brakes or surge brakes, i use the 4 pin obviousely...on our larger boats with disc brakes they have a 5 pin connector. i use an adapter from the round 7 to an inline 5....the 5th pin is for when you put it in reverse, it unlocks the brakes so you can back up easily....

so there, i can explain the pins to you, but couldnt tell you where to wire it....if noone answers, i can look at mine tomorrow afternoon and follow it as far as i can
