yeah dodge will charge you up your butt and outta ur ears for that stuff...i was quote $150 just for the wiring and installation from dodge. Personally I'd buy a harness from walmart and splice it into the wires. as for the hitch itself, you can get it and all the parts from different places. I think this seller on ebay is a dodge dealer, they may be able to tell you the part number if you want to order it locally.

they make two styles. one is just a small piece that bolts up where your pic is. that's what i have. requires drilling two holes for the top bolts and two more go through the the holes in the pieces hanging down in your pic. search ebay and you'll find one with a pic. also, some other companys, such as uhaul, valley, etc. make one that goes completly across like a normal hitch. i don't have part numbers, but mine was made by curry and was like $75.
the ebay link one...what does that require to be installed...
if i were to get one localy...i dont know where i can pick one up..
the one made by curry...where can i get that from....
thanks for the quick replies

thats one that i found that could be a bold on with the requirement of drilling 2 more holes...is that a good one?

I have a vally hitch on mine, no drilling and it just bolts up to whats already there I have a write up in the do it yourself forum. so far I have hooked it up to many things including a 35' trailer and had a 16' flip on me and everything is ok hitch wise
