lookin for 3rd brake light again, lookin for one that says 4X4 or DAKOTA....it can be plastic, stainless, polished alum, whatever bc ill have it chromed black to match the wheels or painted to match the paint....where can i get one
frenchy, do u have the link to the write up on all the sound deadening stuff....i know you have raamaudio mat, and ill prob go with that, but just wanted to read it again. dynamat xtreme is on ebay in a bulk for 32sq feet for $80 plus shipping....60sq feet of raammat is 118 plus shipping....wondering if the extra 60 would be worth buyin dynamat xtreme....i know they said raammat blew regular dynamat out of the water, but i think xtreme was at the top of the list....how much of a dif did raammat make and how many layers did you use? how much sq feet did you buy? what did you deaden? how much left over did you have? and how long did it take you (just to put on, not including takin off pannels and puttin it back on)
also, anyone want to get rid of their tow hooks?

as far as deadening goes, dynamat extreme is very good stuff. Raam Mat is great too. I honestly dont think you will have enough to do the back wall, floor, rear doorsand front doors with under 50sq feet of deadener. also take into consideration that you will have to pull the seats out as well as all the pannels and if you want to really deaden the vehicle the pillar pannels and head liner...
as far as time goes... kinda depends on sheet thickness and ambient temperature. if its cold out... all day with a heat gun. if its hot out, as fast as you can lay it down... We used to deaden car truncks in like a little under an hour. but we did it often enough to have a pattern and rythm to our work...

Go to www.StylinConcepts.com. They have the brake light covers. They're actually pretty nice.
i plan on deadening the doors and back wall for now...if i decide to do the floor later on, so be it....as for stylinconcepts...ive been using them for years and even recieve their mag allllllll the time....i couldnt think of the name though and kept tryin to type conceptsstylin.com and so i figured maybe they went out of business

Call them. I called them this morning about the Edge Power programmer because it showed that they had one for the GEN III's, but it turned out to be for the Diesles. I also checked about the Shaker Hood because the website doesn't show having one for the GEN III's, but it turns out they do.ORIGINAL: Night_Runner

As for whether or not the GEN II's and III's are the same, I'm not sure, but it's worth a try. I did see them in the catalog and I'm sure they carry the covers for our trucks.

Well IDK for sure but I parked next to a 2nd Gen and I did a kinda side by side comparison of the two 3rd Brake lights and I honestly can't tell any difference between the too... so I think it SHOULD fit...but I don't know for sure...
