ok guys, i pray my borla muffler will be in tomorrow or friday....anyway, i was thinking....i called 20some shops and noone has stainless steel...id much rather have it...1 shop said they could order some and get me a quote, but never called back....im startin to think, i can buy my own pipe, then go to the muffler shop and have it all bent and put together....where could i get 2.5" stainless steel pipes? also, what are your thoughts on this? should i, or what....

ps-got my antenna today, get my covers tomorrow

Hmm a muffler shop doesnt have stainless.... WOW. Umm as far as getting some.... try like a contractor supply store. I know some on the main wireing for building is sometimes in big stainless pipes when it comes into the building

well, i would really like polished stainless...or can i get regular stainless lookin like polished? and ya, they all say the demand out here isnt high enough for stainless. ..they all have "aluminized"....whats the dif between that and regular alum or polished alum anyway?

Aluminized is steel tubing with an aluminum coating. I think it's put on like chrome is but only one coat. The factory pipes are stainless but you would really have to work on them to make them shine.
Look at summitracing.com for stainless tubing.They can get it to you in a very short time.

Disregard my post about summitracing.com. I just looked ant they don't have stainless exhaust pipe. Maybe J.C. Whitney....

You definitely don't want electrical piping, lol. That stuff is much thicker and heavier than exhaust piping, schedule 20 galvanized steel if I remember correctly (for EMT, even thicker for IMC or rigid).
