they are charging $150 to shampoo the inside and clean it all and then wash, buff/wax the out side. so it's worth it to me.

my buddy wants to use it in his wedding, so I thought I would have it nice and clean for them

There's a good idea from a rocket scientist. Run your vehicle through a "touchless" car wash then go straight home and wax it. I've yet to see a touchless car wash that removes dirt. They'll take obvious dirt off, but they don't remove dirt "film." That fine little coating that covers your paint. Those who own a light color truck may not see it as much, but anyone here who owns a black or dark blue truck has definately seen it.

ya, a touchless car wash is only good for removing dust or light dirt. I'll go to them when I'm lazy and the truck really isnt that dirty.

I use eagle 1 nano wax and it works good. havent waxed it this year yet though.

I used to own two red cars, and I used to wash them every weekend, and wax them too. I've always used Mcquiars wax. When they first came out with the three step process, it would take me a good four hours to wash and wax. I love that stuff and I only use that. Everyone else is crap as far as I'm concerned.

As a matter of fact, when I see those commercials on tv, they don't even mention Mcquiars wax when they compare the advertised wax with their competitors.
