So pro 4x4 should i put some sort of thermostativ valve on the keyed 12v accessory so that it interupts the power supply to the relay until the proper temp is reached? Can you do up a quick electrical schematic on how you wired yours up. Thanks

I'll enclose the diagram I used but I have a flex-a-lite fan so its going to be different. My fan has a control box and a temperature probe that you push in between the radiator fins and it has a **** on it so you can set it to turn on at a certain temperature.

Could you post that in the mods talk? This way we can look it up at anytime.

Thanks.

What are you using for thermostats? I put a electric fan in my Triumph TR6 and it really worked well and made a big difference in power and milage. It was a cheap system using a thermostat stuck in the cooling fins of the radiator. Butif I were to take this truck out in the wild and climing a mountain where I really would need it I'd want a two speedfan or two fansfor extra cooling. I'd like the thermostats actually in contact with the coolant for more accurate readings.

well at auto zone the sell a kit with a thermobulb that you slip into the bottom radiator hose and then clamp it down. They are adjustable from 150-210 i believe. I just dont like the idea of clamping it down. If anyone knows of another type of setup please let me know. Thanks
