Yeah I doubt it ... if he did have one he'd put blue LEDs instead of the White and Red LEDs... :-P

as for the nerf bars, they were a "bonus" from my dad for kickin *** at the shop. they arnt painted, they are powdercoated, gosh get it rightjk...and ya it makes the truck look a lot beefier, thanks for the compliments!

here is some proof that the fire and ice bar will look great! (pics compliments of scottscan)...although, im going to try to tuck it in further if possible

first of all, it is only noticable if you are at eye level with it

no problem frenchy

and back to the nerf bars (steps)....if you are not goin for the chrome look, i highly recommend the powdercoated ones...i tried to key it because i heard powdercoat is amazing at not getting scratched and guess what. no matter how hard i tried, it didnt even leave a mark

Well, I guess Jimbo's isn't quite a fire & ice bar, but he has little strips of LEDs going around the corners of his bumpers...the fronts are blue, the backs are red. You're right, not a true fire and ice bar....just strips of LEDs.

All powdercoat is.... is a thick plastic like coating...

It won't rust, or peel, or scratch, or anything... VERY resistant to road salt, the guy who did my stock wheels did his WRX's wheels, and in the middle of the winter, he just takes his hand, and rubs all the crap off the wheels...

Powdercoat can be quite smooth depending on the mixture they use but to my knowledge the rougher mixtures are more durable. My friend's dad had the westin nerf bars which were powdercoated black with a very smooth finish, after 3 years they're all rusted and crappy which surprised me because powdercoat usually holds up much better than that.
