Hey everybody i just installed an intake on my truck, Its not a name brand its a cheap one off ebay The installation was very easy. and it looks alright. I just dont have a heat shield.! Is there any way someone can take measurements of their K&N and let me know what they are possibly with a diagram I plan on making my heat shield with sheetmetal? What do you guys think? What are the heat shields on the K&N Made out of? Any input will be greatly appreciated! Oh and my ACCESS tonneau cover will be here tomorrow! i'll post up pics of that and the intake tomorrow.

 

Yeah please post pics... it really depends on what the intake setup looks like because depending on what it looks like the heat shield for the K&N may not fit...
