RE: HomeMade Heat Shield!
You can buy the same weather stripping they use on the K&N kits at a Home Depot i believe. the K&N official heat shield is no better. That whole setup seems pretty nice and I usually rate ebay intakes really poorly. Does that intake have a spot for the IAT, and a gromet? What about a spot for the vacum hose?

RE: HomeMade Heat Shield!
Ya i'm gonna pick up some weather stripping today,
Yes it has the spot for the IAT, and a gromet, and the vacume hose! i was supprised at the quality! it works great! not bad for $40 shipped! and the homemade heat shield only cost me $13
all together $53, not bad, better than the $260 for the K&N!!!
