i think with the 4.10 towards the end of the track the truck might fall on its face. might just hit the redline and die. wont know untill i try. but around town every light or stop sign i leave a nice set of black strips. its just natural

 

Just bench racing here butI guess it's safe to say that the club cab, '08, 4.7 will be running around mid 15's stock.

i have first dibs on test driving an 08 at the dealership were i bought my dak. gonna see haow it goes. even if it is better then my dak, i am gonna keep it. i want to get a fullsize diesel but a earlier model 97/98. wanna get some serious power out of it.

I ran a 16.9 with my truck, but I had slowed down at the end of the track looking for the finish line. There wasa lot of other lines on the strip since PIR is also a race track.

 

The New '08 Dakota will be released August 21st...and will have 300hp...that of course is a crank number...so we are looking at about 265 Wheel which is 35 more wheel than the current 4.7L HO motor and 65 more wheel power than the current 4.7L. which is actually a quite impressive number and yeah that will kick some serious tail...and its supposed to weigh just a bit less than the new old ones by about 4 hundred pounds or so....so just to say that it will eat the F-150 up stock and most other 8 cylinder gas trucks...not all but most i would say...all information was given to me froma buddy of mine that works At Daimler Chrysler corporation!

see what it says about the new suspension. it is firmmer then the floaty 05-07 models. so what does dodge do. not make a better shock for the 05-07 just a firmmer suspension for the 08 model.
