Found this on ebay, kinda looks like the truxxx kit

No DO NOT USE on 4x4. Those are the type that go bewen the shock and the mound, and lower/over extend your CV joints. Bad news. They are good for 2x4 trucks though

 

They're $20 more than the TM kit and the TM kit is definitely better and safer for 4x4's. Go with the TM

 

Oh, I will go with the TM when I finally get to that point, I think we all agree that they offer the best kit right now.

Just interesting how this guy is selling what looks like a Truxx kit for almost 100 bucks....

 

How much are the Truxx kits normally?

 

The truxx kit is no good for us 4x4 folks so I never bothered to look, I was actually referring to the TM kit, which if you search around you can find it for about $79.

I went to the Truxx site and they say it is $227

 

Oh wow, never bothered looking at them so I didn't realize they were that much. At that price seems like the 4x2 guys are better off with the TM kit too, lol.

 

Where's a good place to buy the TM kit?

I know a few people have gotten theirs from here. Pro4x4 had a bit of trouble with them, they were great for me though.

 

how difficult is this kit to install?? and do you need any special tools to do this project??
