ok, ya, belts are fun on ohc motors. got to have everything perfict. the bird is the same way. so far ive replaced 6 belts after blowing 3 head gaskets, 1 head and 2 motors lol toooooo muchhhhhhh boost lol hehehehehehe

I've been thinking of buying an older Neon... or even *shudders* a Civic. I had a '89 CivicMTX hatchback, it was great, because you could beat the crap out of it and not care, because its a pice of crap.

 

Well IMO i'd be willing to pay 500 but I'd try as hard as I can to negotiate it down...LOL :-P

 

Yeah once I get out of college and out of debt I want to get another Integra to use as a daily driver so I can do some serious work on the Dak without losing my only transportation. Then when I'm done with the dakota I can build up the teg

 

If I end up working more than 20-30 miles from home, I'm definitely getting a beater for all the back and forth. Why abuse a brand new truck? Then I can mod it up, too, without losing my transportation..same as Rich.

ya, I love buying beaters. last year I bought a 84 fith ave with only 85,000kms off an old guy for $500. then I put about $200 into it and drove it for acouple months until some guy offered me $1,500 for it. so I sold it. I wish I woulda kept it.

right now I have a 97 neon 5spd and a baretta 5spd.( forget what year it is) I always pick up cars cheap, fixem and sell them again. or just drive the living crap outta them and then put them ina demo derby.


I wouldgive him $400 for that car.

 

my beater is a 1988 dakota. i drive it to work to save miles on my 01 dakota.

 

I wouldn't give him more than $250.00. What he put into the car doesn't even equate to what he wants for it. I'd be smart about it. Not too many people are going to want to buy something like that unless they have a plan.... for Celica... I just don't see it.
