Yeah i'm pretty sure that's how it goes. In theory they could send you a different ecu (long as it's the same model) and you'd never notice but I don't see any reason for them to.

YEAH BUT someone was saying you gotta do fuel...replacing a cam why would you have to do a new fuel system?

so if you take out the ecu board, you will be out of something to drive untill they send it back..

they said fuel maps, that is in the ecu. how much do you really know about trucks man?

correct. you dont have a converter so none is needed. only thing is I would watch the clutch. I dont know what the torque rating is on the stock one.

how do you get lines or pump out of maps?
