Ok, how much of a drop should I get for the ball mount?

Wallyworld has a Hidden Hitch "towing kit" for about $30 which includes the ball mount, ball, and a locking pin. They have a 2" and 3-1/4" drop ball mounts and both kits come with a 2" ball..

 

There is no standard. You must figure out what it takes to make your rig tow level.

 

Exactly. I've actually found that, to tow the church trailer, I need a 2 inch rise....I bought a two inch drop ball mount and flipped it upside down and used that.

 

My buddies Sierra just got a hich put on it.... his truck now has 4 *****. :-)

Looks awkward, to be honest.

I want him to put two more in it, so he has 6... but he won't do that...

 

what him getting into it doesnt count as adding *****???
