Hard braking vibration highway speeds
Mine is an '05 3.7L. Took it in today and dealer service shop confirmed it was the rear brake issue as indicated by the TSB. Parts have been ordered. Look near the top of this forums web page and you will see "TSB and recalls" and follow the links till you find what you are looking for.
I was having the same problem. I just replaced the front rotors and pads on my '05 quad cab V8. Only have a little more than 12,000 miles on the truck (it's not my daily driver). I don't think there was any problem with the pads, but replaced them anyway. Bottom line, is that the shuddering/vibration when braking is now cured.
But, there is definitely a problem with the brakes if rotors have to be replaced in less than 12,000 miles. Chrysler/Dodge needs to adderss this problem.

Have this problem with my 2005 Dakota, spoke to two Dealers and was advised that it was not covered under the warranty since i was over 12000 miles, i corrected this problem by buying a Toyota Tundra this was my third Dakota that gave me brake problems,
Yes i knew that, actually there are two TBS,s. ReallyI liked the truck,I am a retired Fleet Manager and when you see these type of problems and they do not seem to go away its time to move on.
