I got an `05 and so far i love it. Its the best riding truck i've had yet.

I'm not sure how I like the 05 compared to the 2nd generation. Sometimes I think I like the 2nd better, sometimes I think I like the 3rd better. In either case, I think it's the best looking midsize/compact truck on the market, followed by the Tacoma and the Frontier. The Chevy is butt Ugly, as is the Honda Ridgeline. The Ranger is just nothing special.

The Dakota's front overhang is a little odd, but I still think it's a nice looking truck.

 

I just think the front end is sooo ugly...i like the rest of the truck. I have seen very few on the road.

 

I actually recently had a front end leveling kit installed on my 05. It lifted the front end 2". It gives the truck a lot more agressive look.

I do agree about the grill. I am not sure what I want to do with that yet.

 

Where are the pics?

 

If they make a kit like that for the dakota soon i am definately buying it!!!!! Just need some side pieces and a roll pan and u got it made!

I totally agree with you on everything you commented on about the '05 Dakota. That is why I am looking for some kind of body kit for it so I can get the front end to maybe not look like it sticks out so far. If you or anyone out there knows of where to get one, let me know please it would be greatly appreciated.
