Well its been a while... close to two weeks I think... that I've been away... and well been super busy which is why I've been away...but alot has happened...

I got a new laptop, a new HD TV... although not true HD, and a sweet Digital Picture Frame.... and I started my new job...well thats it for the good news...

Heres the bad... my Truck got egged a last weekend.... unfortunately I was sick the next day and did not get out to my truck until 2pm... and by that time my paint was pretty F***ED so now I have run marks, splatter marks, and some nice paint that has been eatin away by the egg at the point of Impact...

then 3 days later I get a Durango on the express way that decides he's going to pull off the side of the road... well he kicks up a nice big rock that scrathes my truck in 3 spots... add my ****ty touch up job from when I scratched the paint putting my tint on... I think my paint job has been pretty F***ED in the like 6 months I've had my truck...

just an update

That sucks. Hope things get better for you. I'm sure the paint can be worked with and turned nice again.. without spending alot of cash.

You waited too long, will any type of insurance cover a paint job? What good is a new truck with crappy paint?

Yeah the picture frame is really cool... its something I'd definitely never buy myself but I'm REALLY glad I got it as a B-day present from my brother and sister in-law

I'm new here and just wanted to say hi, and that sucks about your paint!! black shows it all and is not easy to hind and bad spots in it.
I have a 06 Dakota and when it was only a mouth old a car wash I used to go to put a scratch in it and then try to say they didn't do it!! The dealership wanted $468 to repair it and the car wash said they would give me $150, not because they damaged it but for customer satisfaction, what I joke and I'm still trying to get them to own up to it..
The scratch is hard to see, but I know it's there and it still makes me mad every time I see it!
Then about 3 mouths later I got rear ended getting off the freeway, that one turned out much better as the guy that hit me insuraceco. took care of it and all that I needed was the rear bumper. They sent me a check for $517 and the bumper from the dealership at first was $525, but because I got to know the parts guy he sold it to me for $366 so with the left over I got a bed Extender and some stainless steel door plates.

Any ways I hope you can get yours fixed
