well, I think this is what we need to try to do more of... RECAP!!!
Trucky, we have had the search for as long as I have been on the site, and probably since it was fired up. forums tend to have them. (that sounds assh*le-ish but not intended as so)
Babygotdak, I am currently using dial-up, XP Mediacenter and Mozilla Firefox (2.0.0.6) I connect on a good day at 28.8. This forum only takes about 20 seconds to load a page. longer if it has pic of course, but not too much longer. I suggest cleaning up Temp internet files, and hitting up bandwidthplace to do a speed test. its a good place to start.
I think stone is right. I haven't been on a lot as of late, and every time I come back, the sticky threads up top get more plentiful. I think the eastcoast/westcoast sing ins need to be condensed into one thread, we can clean that top area up and organize it better to help the "noobies."
[Rant] I will admit that my time has been devoted to other things. like finding and apartment and getting ready for a new baby. So I haven't been any help as of late, but I wouldn't mind trying to make the 3rd gen dak forum a more organized and easy to use place. Lets face it. the majority of users here are younger guys. Especially the new folks. (btw Hi to all the new people!) and maybe they aren't versed in forum use. So we should make it easy for them to learn. Not become a bunch of "search ****'s". [/Rant]<--- thats for you frenchy! lol

i honestly just didnt LOOK There...i've never seen a search at the bottom of a page before, especially with so many tabs on top i always thought search would be there... but my bad, plead ignorance.
