Nope Automatico! I was doing my brakes...oil change and intake...and yeah I always leave it in Neutral when i'm doing work on my truck...I know "why the hell wouldyou put it in Neutral...but when i was doing my brakes i had to have it in neutral for the rears otherwise the rear disks are just a little more stubborn to come off!!!! but yeah anyway thats the story...

Ive done lots of rear brakes on quite a few vehicles and as long as you dont have the e-brake on it doesent matter if its in park because the drum pulls strait out you dont have to turn it. Calipers the same way, you unbolt them and pull them off
