stereo question. NEED INFO
Does ANYONE know how to go about putting a system in a quad cab but still beeing able to use the back seasts. Were would you put the amp and subwoofer? Do they make anything already or would i have to custom make it?

Mount the amp under the right side rear seat. MTX makes a box with a 10" sub that fits behind the left rear seat. Look for the one for a 2003-2004 Dakota, itWILL fit ours. You will no longer be able to raise the bottom of the seat though.

well, honestly... what are you looking for out of your system? If you are looking for loud, you are basicly going to have to make some sacrifices... if you are looking for clean and not worried about loud, then I suggest this for a quad cab. still keeping the seats "foldable"
Head unit. Alpine (any newer model with 3 outputs)
Interior Speakers. Alpine Type R 6.5 Components (front and rear)
Amplifier. Alpine 4 channel or JL 4 channel (total mobile audio is made by JL BTW)
I am running an alpine headunit, 2 sets of Type R components and a Zapco 4 channel putting 60 wats to each component set. Response is good and bass is adequate. it isnt loud, but it sounds full and accurate. I plan on adding a 10 inch type S alpine sub behind my rear seat. Just to help with the 40-80 HZ range. these speakers dont do much below 80Hz with any volume. (if you listen to Rap or blues/jazz, you might want to think about a sub.)

yeah i wanted to put a sub in it i mean i listen to all types of music but 80% of it is rap i dont car if the seats arent foldable any more but i wtill want to be able to use them i dont want it ridiculously loud but i do want it to bump
