Default Luxury vs. Sport upgrades

I am in the early stages of pre-planning the upgrades I would like to do to my truck. I have an 06 Dak 4x4 QC with the Atlantic Pearl Blue paint. I have had the windows tinted, and that's it.
Now i am at the point that I haven't decided if i want a "Sport" look or a "Luxury" look.
I've seen several pics of "Sport" trucks, but have seen nothing along the lines of "luxury".
I'm sorta partial to the "Luxury" side right now, but without seeing any pics i'm at a loss for ideas on what to add.
The one thing I definately want to change is the center "radio/AC/ 4x4 switch bezel" as i currently have the hideous silver/black triangle one

This place has a decent price on a dash kit i've thought about using the oxford burlwood

Give me some ideas here. I don't drive the truck a whole lot, thanks to having a company car, but when i do get to drive it i want it to look as good as possible, and to have it turning heads as there are very few of these 3rd Gen Daks around here. I'm not into the big wheels, loud music, lotsa chrome, gangsta look, but i still would like something sharp.

Help me out here.

all those dashkits are is a bunch of stickers...they look good for a while but they will begin to peel and look like crap on the edges and unless you put them on perfectly they will look kinda off. I'd say checkout the oem woodgrain bezel but that will only cover your radio/ac/switch part.
When i think Luxury i think leather seats. That would cost quiet a bit but i imagine would look extra nice.
Luxury also means moon roof, although if you havent got one already your going to be hard pressed to find an installer who will do it for a good price that will get you one that looks/works really well...

i put a matching fiberglass tonneau on my 05 club cab and it made a real difference. also put the lowering shakles so the truck sits level. custom billete grille. thats it for exterior mods.

Look around there's several people offering dash overlay kits for the Dakota, plus I've seen chrome and polished stainless door and tailgate handle covers for them to.I know I recommend eBay Motors alot but its a good place to see whats available for the Dakota and no not everything I've bought for my truck came from them,I usually look around and see what the online retailers are gettin for whatever I'm lookinng for to.there's plenty of grill overlays and inserts available also.I'm not really into big rims and the bling bling look but everybody has their own taste.

I have to ask......why would you purchase a 4x4 truck and want to lux it out, I mean is not the point of having a 4x4 is to use the 4x4 in a off-road mud/snow/sand environment I have always found it kind of funny to see people with a Hummer 2 paying 75K for a top of the line 4x4 and it never sees anything but the hwy maybe it is me but I would of saved the 4k the 4x4 cost you and used it to buy some upgrades on a 4x2.....also you can't drop a 4x4 down and ride low like you can a 4x2....don’t know but I guess just my way of thinking.

that's what I have. I got the Laramie with full luxury on the interior. I like the "Luxury with an Attitude" look, which is what I'm going for on my truck. I am also in the stages of upgrading parts on my truck to give it a more luxurious look on the outside than what I have now. So I would say adding luxury to it would be a great addon.
