Default hit a dumpster

so I was coming out of a tight parking spot next to a dumpster, and I turned a little too tight, so to say the least a part sticking out of the dumpster which I didn't see managed to scrape the side of my rear panel. I managed to take out most of the dip in the panel but there is still a long scuff mark on the paint and part of the tail light. Is there any way to remove this without painting over?

get some pics...need to see it first to determin how deep it is in the paint....on the taillight, get some Meguiars PlastX...get a rag (on plastic it doesnt matter what kind, but i always use microfiber on all parts of my vehicles) and shake up the plastx bottle then put some on your towel and apply to the markings on the light...scrub in circles. dont worry about using too much product or too much pressure....you may have to attack it for a while, but it will take it out and your taillights will look like new...if not, your doing something wrong (which is very hard to do with this stuff). this stuff is very user friendly...i use it on all my clear (or colored clear) plastics, and it keeps them looking new, or restores them to new

thanks, yeah I've used that stuff before on another car and it worked great to restore headlights. I did manage to remove all the marks from the tail light with this product called goo-gone, worked pretty good. the marks one the panel don't look too deep but I'll see if I can get some pictures
