Best way to check if anti-spin is working?
My TRX4 is supposed to have the anti-spin rear-end, but notice when I pull out of the driveway (part gravel), the back wheels always seem to kick some rocks around when I hit the gas. What's the best way to go about checking it?
At 15k I did replace the diff. oil with RP , and did not hear any chattering on tight figure-8's in a parking lot.
thanks

Give it a nice burnout on pavement then get out and look back. One strip = LSD not working right. Two strips = it's working fine

Just remember Limited Slip is NOT anti-spin. You still can spin your tires, but most likely if one starts to spin on its own,the other will (limitedly) kick in.
Forgot to mention 3.7v6 + BFG A/T KO tires.
They will both bark for a couple of feet but rubber strips, ehh....I'll check the best I can, I think I was thinking they would never spin and see where I went wrong in the thinking. Thanks!
/never had a limited slip/anti-thingy axle before.

What IS the difference between an LSD and Anti-Spin Differential. And is aLSD the same as what used to be called a slip-lock posi?

LSD is a limited slip differential, anti-spin differential is the same thing. Automakers have a lot of different names for it, I'm guessing slip-lock posi would be one too although I've never heard that term before.
idk if mine has one, but making an almost backward turn coming out of work i feel a bump almost like hitting a curb w/ the tires, but im not hitting a curb, and today i got my tires to break traction for the first time on dry road,
, altho i didnt get a chance to stop and see if both spun or not, but thats how i would do it
step one start truck and put tranny in 1st
step two, apply brake w/ left foot
setp three, push gas pedal down until you hear screeching sound
step four, put truck back in park and shut it off and walk around to see how many black lines youleft on the pavement
