I would say the biggest increase was from synthetic... but everyones right. its a combination of stuff.
I use my truck for work right now and am averaging 290-320 miles on a tank of gas. thats a lot of city and highway mixed driving. I drive a lot for work. around 100 miles a day. I fill up enough to keep a decent average in the trucks mileage log. (I have to keep it for work anyways so why not make it more usefull? lol)

Went from Baltimore to VIR this weekend. Drafting as much as possible and keeping my foot out of it, I got 21.00 mpg on the way down. This was the first trip that was all interstate for me. On the way back, it was 18.18 mpg but that tank included driving about at the track and a few trips into town from the track.
Spent the weekend camping down there so I had some stuff in the truck. Probably only 200 lbs of gear. My son and daughter were another 200 lbs. I was able to keep everything but the bikes out of the air stream for the most part.
