i dont have that problem, i can afford to pay pablo to pump my gas
I can afford pablo to fill mine, but I would rather spend money on things like...sushi, lights, computer toys, girls *COUGH* i mean...yeah...tools. When the pump clicks...mine is full. It varies from station to station how long it takes to fill mine. Some takes 5 min some take almost 10...so I think it's the pump.

Mine doesn't take too long at all...just a few minutes. Ususally enough time to clean three quarters of the windshield. I think I topped off once or twice with this truck, gas went all over everywhere and that was the last time I did that. Now I just stop whenever it pings....saves the cost of water to clean the side of the truck.

I am still having this problem, replaced the Evap Pump on the truck and it did not help. where is the rollover valve on this thing. is it in the tank or in the fill hose?

I dropped the tank once for that stupid 10$ pump, I really don't want to do it again

I am pretty sure this thing has been topped off a few dozen times... since this has been an ongoing problem since before i bought it.

could the charcoal canister be it, if I replace that would that maybe fix it?

Mine doesn't squirt or leak, but once it clicks, its done and its full to the point anymore will just go down the side.

I have had mine click at 3/4, which throws off my mileage calculation for that fill, but I tend to blame the pump, or an air lock in my system. If it is only 5 -8 liters short of full I don't really care. That's only around 60 kms or so . . . assuming I drive to empty.

it clicks...so not filling correctly

I can have a empty tank.. and get a 1/3 gal in and "click"

so I never know when full is FULL

Yeah when mine clicks I can maybe squeeze a little more in there but then I can sometimes see the fuel at the top. So usually I just let it click and settle with my random price. On a side note I was filling up my 93 Wrangler the other day and i wasn't holding on tight enough and the license plate (gas cap is behind license plate in case you didn't know) flipped up and threw the nozzle out thus spilling gas all over my pant leg and shoe. Then I was 2 hours away from any clean clothes and had to wash out my sock in the gas station sink. Good times.
