Judging by the price on that one I'd be very skeptical of it. One thing to make sure of for ebay HIDs is that it's a High/Low kit, a lot of them are low beam only which means you lose your High beams. Ballast quality also makes a difference, there's actually a decent bit to these things. You can find a lot of good info on HIDs here: http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/

lol there are also dif types of hids. there are single ballast and double ballast. there are duel high/low with one ballast, there are just lows with one ballast, and there are true high/low kits with two ballasts. i would purchase from an actual website rather than ebay. i wouldnt skimp here and want to lose money. id rather pay the $ and get some type of gaurantee and someone to call if i have complications

Well;

One of my stocks just burnt out about a month ago. So I went to Canadian Tire, and bought a set of silverstars. The install was a bit of a pain, (they tell you to remove 03 screws, but they do not give the location, after 5 minutes of turning a screw, I realize that I am turning the headlamp hight screw.) Once I got them installed, much better than stock. I also use high beams every day, and cover about 10 miles with them. Personally, my old 2004 pontiac sunfire had the best low and highs I ever saw. Lit the road up in all the places that really needed it.

I went to try and buy some silver star bulbstoday. Part number is 9008 but no one had any and did not show them availible. I think they are changing over to the ultra silver star bulb and have not started to produce them yet. In the meantime ever parts store was sold out of the old style silver stars.

Personally, skip the Silverstars and pick up some Luminics Ultra Whites. I was using Silverstar Ultras in my integra then switched to the Luminics and have to say it made a difference. Don't see why they wouldn't be better for our trucks too, plus the color is a lot nicer, closer to HID.
