this is a pic of our shock design. see the fork at the bottom. dodge did a poor design with this one. all other shocks and towers are a direct bolt on. illistration #9

Yeah the fork at the bottom means it gets about 10 times harder to replace a shock than on the 2003 I had. One nut at the top, two bolts at the bottom, out she come! NOW.... steering tie rod, upper balljoint stud, lower the IFS hub assembly without tearing up the brake line or speed sensor wire, then to reassemble, manage to get the upper control arm down enough.. oh hell you know what I mean at this point [:@]
