Default More Shock information....

Well I got all excited when I saw in my store's data base the shockt/struts for sale. I immediately ordered them and the ordered processed like any other I have done for my customers. Told all my staff the second they arrive pull my truck in and get them on. Well my bubble bust when monore called the store saying the fronts (struts) will not be available until the first of january. Only combo we can get are thesensa-track for the front and reflex for the rear. Will try again on the first!

im glad monroe is finally getting them out, however, if i have to wait an extra 3 months for blistien, i will. if blistien drops the ball and doesnt come out with them, monroe is nice as well. imo id rather have blistiens though

I just spoke to a rep at Bilstien East (NC) and at this point does not have specific availability data but emphasized that did not mean shocks for our trucks were not far off. His guesstimate was March, '08, possibly sooner. I would suggest to all to call Bilstein at least once a month between now and then for updates: 1-704-663-7563. And just my 2cents: comparing Monroe to Bilstein is like comparing hamburger to filet mignon.

I also just spoke with Bilstein East. The guy I spoke with told me it's hard to say because R&D doesn't give them much other than a list of what's coming out in the next few months and ours aren't on that list. They are in development, he said he would guess early to mid-year next year but to keep in mind that's his guess and not the official line. I did ask him if he could drop a line to R&D and let them know there are a lot of desperate Dakota owners looking for shocks
