HELL YEAH...I used that in my 96 dakota that was given to me by my father with 35,000 miles on it and I had to get a new radiator because of scale build up and i put the new radiator in and the next time i changed my radiator fluid in i put that bottle in and i had the truck up to 145,000 miles and it still had the original waterpump and the radiator was fine. I've used it in pretty much all my vehicles and never had any problems with it...it actually made my truck run cooler! don't know how but it made it run about 20 -30 degrees cooler. So its never done me wrong...and really why dodge says that is because the coolant that dodge provides is known to build up scales in the radiator after about 20,000 miles thats why i change it every 20,000 miles religiously....i've been with dodge for many years and have learned alot of things that really dodge will not release to the public! so yeah i would recommmend using it...and i follow the fluids above that i posted religiously and none of my cars have failed on me.

What brand coolant do you use? At 30,000 miles I plan to change both front and rear diffs and flush the radiator and all the other fluids. Does royal purple make coolant and tranny and transfer case fluids for our trucks? Last time I checked they didn't have the transmission fluid which goes in most of the stuff on our trucks.

I was told by my dealer that for the 15k service that included transfer case additive, LSD fluid change they wanted over $400.00. Yah, right! This is not a hummer or some exotic. I will either do it myself or have Jiffy Lube do it.

I would just do it yourself. I changed therear LSD yesterday with Amsoil and it was prettyeasy. Next week I'm going to do the front axle.

Also, dealerships make their money on "Sevicing a vehicle" andnotselling aNEW vehicle. If you know anyone that works for a dealership, they will tell you the same, and if they don't then they haven't seen the "books."
