Default I'm back

Hey kids,

Sorry about the confusion. I had asked my EA to delete a COUPLE of posts in this thread (not the raft that were nuked [sm=smiley24.gif]: she’s a great lady, keeps me sane and the customers love her but is seriously old school and not atall web savvy) as I was going to be awol for a bit and not able to reply to any comments received.

Now that I’m back I’ve re-posted the pdf file which can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/?8w6z9z0zqyd

I’ve tried messing around with a few different settings but for some reason can’t get it to stay in landscape mode after its been saved as a pdf. I know its easy enough to rotate clockwise but its sort of annoying.

Let me know any feedback or suggestions you have on improving the content or layout.[sm=feedback.gif]

THX

Looks like there are a lot of threads to get caught up on.

Looks pretty good, two things that I can see:

1.) For step #11, may want to mention this is now the new oil filter. This should be obvious to most people but just in case...

2.) Did you use 5W20 in your truck? For our trucks you should be using 5W30 or 10W30.
From the factory service manual:

yup, as per the manual (and as printed on the filler cap) it asks for 5w20.....the chiltons manual (for up to '06 models) says 5w30, likewise for the '05 dodge service manual.....I'll make a change to use what ever weight is specified in you manual

wonder if the 5w20 is a canuck thing?

Hmm it could be, mine was bought here in the US and the manual and cap say 5W30, anyone with a lot of knowledge about oil viscosity care to pitch in as to why they might spec 5W20 in canada rather than 5W30? Now I'm curious.

Yeah, you don't want thicker oil in the cold, right?
